Summer 2023

Updated: Jan 5

It's summer time! This can often bring a mixed experience of emotions, thoughts, and even behaviors. I look forward to a purposeful slow down time and goal to pump up self-care. Yet, I find that I always end up filling this "slow down time" with all the projects I never can seem to get done during the busier times of the year. Well that has to change because I deserve some sweet slow down time! You do too! So how do we make it work? Great question. What works for me might or might not work for you, but we will never know if we don't try. My three steps for summer 23'

  1. Create a list of things that you would love to get to. Fun things, relaxing things....etc

  2. Cut that list down to the top three (don't put so much on your plate)! Have fun with this. What's important, easy, wild....draw from a hat!

  3. Try one thing a month and take time to reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and actions fo get that thing accomplished.

Could you do more? Maybe, but should you?? Do what brings you peace and joy. Do what brings out your best self.... AND remember to bring out that wonderful person, you have to take the time to get to know you first! That takes curiosity, creativity, and courage! Make it count because you count! ;)
